How Jet Protect™ Works

At Global Charter, we've designed our JetProtect™ policy to provide optimal coverage in case of unforeseen mechanical failures. If your aircraft encounters mechanical problems, we commit to covering up to 200% of the original charter cost to secure a comparable or larger replacement aircraft.

Aircraft Recovery Support: JetProtect™ Plans Ahead for Unexpected Events

The Aircraft Recovery Support, part of our JetProtect™ - AOG insurance, can be added to your charter package at any point before departure. The cost varies based on the type of aircraft:

Turbo Props, Very Light Jet & Light Jet: Additional 3.5% of charter cost.

Super Light Jet & Midsize Jet: Additional 4.0% of charter cost.

Super-Midsize Jet: Additional 4.5% of charter cost.

Heavy Jet: Additional 5.0% of charter cost.

Ultra-Long Range: Additional 5.5% of charter cost.

VIP Airliners: Additional 6.0% of charter cost.

What additional costs does JetProtect™cover?

JetProtect™ covers additional costs due to mechanical issues, such as commercial airline tickets or hotel rooms, up to 200% of the original booking cost.

Is JetProtect™ mandatory for every charter?

No, the decision to purchase JetProtect™ lies with the client.

Must I accept the recovery option?

No, if the replacement aircraft doesn’t meet expectations or isn’t provided timely, the client can opt-out of the agreement.

Is a replacement aircraft guaranteed within a set timeframe?

While we strive for prompt service, JetProtect™ provides financial coverage, not a time-specific recovery aircraft guarantee.

Is all unplanned maintenance covered by JetProtect™?

Yes, JetProtect™ covers unscheduled events within 10 days before departure, with technician logs as proof.

Are replacement aircraft and crew required to meet safety standards?

Absolutely. All replacement aircraft must meet industry safety standards and be a part of our safety network

Is JetProtect™ available worldwide?

Yes, our JetProtect™ - AOG insurance is available globally.

Is JetProtect™ available in any currency?

Yes, it's a percent of whichever currency you pay in.
