Over Global Charter en dit privacybeleid

Global Charter LTD (12386909) heeft haar statutaire zetel te International House, 142 Cromwell Road, Londen, SW7 4EF. In dit privacybeleid gebruiken we de term Global Charter (en „wij”, „ons” en „onze”) om te verwijzen naar het hoofdkantoor van Global Charter op het hierboven vermelde geregistreerde adres en de aan haar gelieerde ondernemingen.

Global Charter zet zich volledig in voor de bescherming van de privacy van onze klanten en bezoekers en zorgt ervoor dat de Europese en internationale regelgeving wordt nageleefd. Neem even de tijd om het volgende beleid (hierna aangeduid als de „Gegevensbescherming“ of het „Privacybeleid“) door te lezen, waarin wordt uitgelegd hoe wij de persoonsgegevens die u aan ons verstrekt via de website van Global Charter (de „Website“) en de mobiele applicatie van Global Charter (de „Applicatie“) (samen de „Platforms“), of wanneer u contact opneemt met de adviseurs van Global Charter via telefoon, e-mail en andere elektronische berichten, per post of wanneer u met ons communiceert via sociale mediaplatforms. Hierin wordt ook uitgelegd hoe wij informatie verzamelen door middel van cookies en aanverwante technologieën wanneer u onze Platforms gebruikt. De Platforms kunnen links bevatten naar andere websites die niet onder dit privacybeleid vallen. De gegevens die u ons verstrekt en hoe deze worden gebruikt

Om toegang te krijgen tot bepaalde delen van onze Platforms, moet u zich bij ons registreren. Tijdens het registratieproces wordt u gevraagd om persoonlijke gegevens over uzelf in te vullen. Door uw gegevens in de daarvoor bestemde velden in te vullen, stelt u Global Charter in staat om u de door u geselecteerde diensten te leveren. Daarnaast kunnen wij ook persoonlijke gegevens van u verzamelen wanneer u met ons correspondeert (bijvoorbeeld als u ons een e- contact t met een vraag over een van onze diensten). Houd er rekening mee dat telefoongesprekken met adviseurs van Global Charter kunnen worden opgenomen voor veiligheids-, opleidings- en ontwikkelingsdoeleinden. Als u ervoor kiest om via een socialemediaplatform of een andere dienst van een derde partij met Global Charter te communiceren, verzamelen wij de gegevens die u ons via dat platform hebt verstrekt. Wij verzamelen ook automatisch bepaalde gegevens over bezoekers van onze Platforms, zoals beschreven in het onderstaande gedeelte getiteld ‘Cookies en andere gegevens die wij automatisch verzamelen’.

De platforms zijn niet bedoeld voor kinderen jonger dan 16 jaar. Vanwege de aard van onze diensten kan Global Charter echter, indien nodig, reisgegevens over kinderen jonger dan 16 jaar verzamelen en bewaren om te voldoen aan luchtvaart- of veiligheidsvoorschriften, om veiligheids- of beveiligingsredenen of voor zover dit anderszins noodzakelijk is voor Global Charter om vervoer of andere door klanten en hun gasten gevraagde diensten te regelen.

Wij gebruiken de verzamelde gegevens over kinderen waarvan bekend is dat zij jonger zijn dan 16 jaar uitsluitend om diensten te verlenen. Indien wij vernemen dat wij persoonsgegevens van een kind jonger dan 16 jaar hebben verzameld of ontvangen zonder toestemming van de ouders of voogd, zullen wij die gegevens verwijderen. Indien een kind jonger dan 16 jaar ons persoonsgegevens heeft verstrekt zonder toestemming van de ouders of voogd, kan de ouder of voogd contact met ons opnemen via contact of legal@globalcharter.com.

De verschillende soorten gegevens die worden verzameld over gebruikers van de Platforms en klanten van Global Charter omvatten:

- Gegevens waarmee onze klanten en extra passagiers die met hen reizen persoonlijk kunnen worden geïdentificeerd, zoals naam, adres, e-mailadres, telefoonnummer, geboortedatum en betalingsgegevens zoals bankrekeninggegevens en door de overheid uitgegeven identificatienummers (d.w.z. nationaal identificatienummer, paspoortnummer, enz.).

- Informatie die betrekking heeft op u, maar waarmee u niet individueel kunt worden geïdentificeerd, zoals geolocatie, medische of gezondheidsinformatie (om u individuele reisdiensten te kunnen bieden met betrekking tot voorzieningen voor mensen met een handicap, voedselallergieën of medisch vervoer) en informatie verkregen uit openbare registers (civiele en strafrechtelijke gerechtelijke dossiers, kredietgeschiedenis, enz.).

- informatie die u ons verstrekt via e-mails, sms-berichten en andere elektronische communicatie, zodat wij specifieke verzoeken kunnen organiseren en uitvoeren; en/of informatie over uw internetverbinding, het apparaat dat wordt gebruikt om toegang te krijgen tot de Platforms en uw gebruiksgegevens.

Wij verzamelen deze informatie rechtstreeks van u wanneer u deze aan ons verstrekt, automatisch terwijl u door onze Platforms navigeert (d.w.z. geolocatie, gebruiksgegevens, IP-adressen en informatie verzameld via trackingtechnologieën zoals cookies) en van derden, zoals diensten voor het doorzoeken van openbare registers en andere zakelijke partners.

Bewaartermijn van gegevens

We will retain your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collect it (the "Storage"). The Storage period shall not exceed twenty-six (26) months from the time that the information is provided by you or collected by us. The Storage period will reset with each new communication received by Global Charter from you or made on your behalf. When relevant, the Storage period of your personal information will be extended to meet the requirements of law and for accounting, auditing and other internal administrative and support functions.

Applicants to job positions at Global Charter will be subject to a twelve (12) months Storage period in order for their profile to be retained for future job openings. This Storage period will be renewed for a same period of twelve (12) months in case of explicit acceptance from the applicant.

The information we collect may include the following:

- Information that you provide by filling in forms on the Platforms including information provided during Global Charter’s application registration (the "Registration"), requesting services from Global Charter’s advisors or purchasing our services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a contest or promotion sponsored by us and when you report a problem with the Platforms. Presently, upon Registration, we collect from each user his or her full name, e-mail address and phone number. For clients using our services, we collect payment preferences, address, passenger(s) name(s), company (when relevant), favorite language for communications, date(s) of birth of passengers and copies of government-issued identification (i.e. passport, national ID, etc.). Upon Registration, we create a user profile to provide you with the utmost tailored user experience according to your needs and requirements. This user profile might contain information related to yourself such as favorite airports, services, catering and any relevant information you might have provided us with to organize your flight(s).

- Records and copies of your correspondence with Global Charter advisors (mail, email, text messages or other electronic messages).

- Responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.

- Testimonials shared by you that we may collect through client satisfaction questionnaires to ensure the quality of our services and for marketing purposes.

- Records of phone conversations with Global Charter advisors;

- Details of services you request.

- Search queries on the Platforms.

- Information published or displayed by you on Global Charter social networks accounts or information transmitted to Global Charter via third parties.

- Platforms’ navigation and interaction information concerning your terminal, your browser, browsing actions and patterns such as details of user visits on the Platforms (e.g. traffic data, logs and other communication data, pages viewed and interactive tools used) collected via automatic data collection technologies.

- Information about your geographic location (geolocation). We collect geolocation data to find you relevant charter options, to notify you of services available near your location such as determining the closest airport you might depart from, and to tailor your experience with Global Charter through bespoke services.

- Information about your mobile device, computer and Internet connection (IP address, operating system, browser type and device type) in order to provide you with interoperable and up-to-date Platforms and features. We may also use these technologies to collect information about your activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services in order to improve our services.

- The information we collect automatically is statistical data and may include personal information and could be maintained or associated with personal information collected in other ways or received from third parties in order to improve the Platforms and to deliver better and more personalized services in order to estimate our audience size and usage patterns, store information about your preferences allowing us to customize the Platforms and services we provide you with, accelerating your searches and recognizing you when you return on the Platforms.

- If you apply for a job position at Global Charter, we will collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, address and additional information such as a resume, education, employment history, skills, licenses and certifications. Global Charter uses the information provided by you to evaluate your qualifications and determine whether we are interested in scheduling an interview.

Technologies we use for automated data collection may include:

- Device IDs that are unique device identification associated with a mobile device. One can limit device ID tracking by modifying settings on your mobile device. Nevertheless, limiting device ID tracking may impact features and access to the Application.

- Geolocation tracking for devices including a global positioning system (GPS) using satellite data to determine your localization. One can disable geolocation tracking by turning off the location feature in your mobile device settings. Nevertheless, disabling this functionality might alter access to the Application and/or some of its features.

- Cookies that are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or mobile application. They are used to recognise your computer as you move between pages on a website, or when you return to a website or mobile application you have visited previously. Cookies are widely used in order to make platforms work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the platform. You can choose to accept or decline cookies through the tool provided by Global Charter (the "Cookie Consent Menu") or by modifying your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. However, doing so may prevent you from taking full advantage of the Platforms.

- Web beacons are small electronic files, also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags and single-pixel gifs, allowing to count users having visited pages or opened messages and for other related statistics such as recording the popularity of certain contents, enabling interconnection of your Global Charter accounts on multiple devices and verifying our system and server integrity. Some web beacons can be disabled by adjusting the settings in your browser or email settings or by installing browser add-ons. Nevertheless, disabling web beacons may render the Platforms inaccessible or prevent from using some of their features.

- Server Logs are log files automatically created and maintained by a server to track activities performed. They cannot be disabled by users.

We will use the information we collect from you to:

- Manage and fulfill services and to provide you with after service care.
- Provide you with accessibility to the Platforms, maintain the interconnection of your Global Charter’s accounts on multiple devices and enable your participation to interactive features.
- Provide you with notices about your account, including billing and other purposes.
- Deal with your special enquiries and requests.
- Send service related communications, including announcements and administrative messages such as order confirmation.
- Send you marketing communications (including e-mails) relating to us and other third party partners in accordance with your communications preferences (please see the How to access, edit, delete or transfer your personal information section below for further information about how you can control these updates).
- Conduct market research to understand how our Platforms are used so that we can continuously improve our Platforms, our services and other offerings and to optimize operations and allocation resources.
- Prevent fraud and other prohibited or illegal activities and as part of our efforts to keep our Platforms secure.
- Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contract entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
- Notify you about changes to the Platforms, products and services.Evaluate applicants applying for job positions at Global Charter.

Rechtsgrondslag voor de verwerking van uw persoonsgegevens

Like most platforms, Global Charter logs IP addresses and uses cookies and similar technologies that allow us to recognise you, to customise your experience and provide us with information about the way our visitors access our Platforms. What is a cookie?

These cookies are essential to provide you with services available through this Platform and to use some of its features, such as access to secure areas. Without these cookies, services you have asked for, like secure login accounts, would not be possible.

- Functionality Cookies:
These cookies serve a variety of purposes related to the presentation, performance and functionality of the Platforms. Their overall purpose, however, is to enhance visitors’ experience and enjoyment of the Platforms.
For example, some of these cookies enable visitors to specify language, destination or other platform preferences.

- Analytics Cookies:
These cookies are used to collect information about how visitors use our Platforms.
The information gathered does not identify any individual visitor and is aggregated. It includes the number of visitors to our Platforms, the platforms that referred them to our Platforms and the pages they visited on our Platforms.

IP addresses

We may collect information about your computer or mobile device, including where available your IP address, operating system, log in times and browser type. We use this information to better understand how visitors use our Platforms and for internal reporting purposes. We may anonymize and share this information with advertisers, sponsors or other businesses.

Over adverteren

- Aan externe dienstverleners die namens ons diensten verlenen, zoals bedrijven en personen die (i) de diensten van Global Charter uitvoeren of faciliteren (bijv. vliegtuigexploitanten, cateraars, diensten die namens u via onze adviseurs worden ingehuurd, enz.), (ii) betalingen verwerken, (iii) uw persoonlijke gegevens verzamelen, opslaan en opvragen, (iv) zoekopdrachten uitvoeren in openbare registers (d.w.z. civiele en strafrechtelijke gerechtelijke dossiers, kredietgeschiedenis, enz.), (v) diensten verlenen met betrekking tot de Platforms (d.w.z. hostingdiensten, onderhoudsdiensten, databasebeheer, analyses en verbetering van functies, enz.).

- Aan specifieke personen aan wie u via ons verwijzingssysteem persoonsgegevens zoals naam en e-mailadres hebt verstrekt, met als doel hen eenmalige e-mailuitnodigingen of downloadlinks naar de Applicatie te sturen.

- Wij kunnen uw persoonsgegevens bekendmaken aan wetshandhavingsinstanties, rechtbanken, toezichthouders, overheidsinstanties of andere derden wanneer wij van mening zijn dat dit noodzakelijk is om te voldoen aan een wettelijke of regelgevende verplichting, of anderszins om onze rechten of de rechten van derden te beschermen.

- Wij kunnen uw persoonsgegevens bekendmaken aan een derde partij die al onze activa en activiteiten, of een substantieel deel daarvan, koopt of waaraan wij deze overdragen. Mocht een dergelijke verkoop of overdracht plaatsvinden, zullen wij redelijke inspanningen leveren om ervoor te zorgen dat de entiteit waaraan wij uw persoonsgegevens overdragen, deze gebruikt op een wijze die in overeenstemming is met dit privacybeleid.

Internationale overboekingen

De gegevens die wij verzamelen, kunnen worden doorgegeven aan, opgeslagen en verwerkt in elk land of gebied waar een of meer van onze gelieerde ondernemingen of externe dienstverleners zijn gevestigd of faciliteiten hebben. Hoewel andere gebieden mogelijk niet dezelfde normen voor gegevensbescherming hanteren als die in uw eigen land, zullen wij de persoonsgegevens die wij doorgeven blijven beschermen in overeenstemming met dit privacybeleid en ervoor zorgen dat onze dienstverleners over adequate gegevensbeschermingsmaatregelen beschikken.

Bescherming van uw gegevens

We willen dat u met een gerust hart gebruik kunt maken van onze Platforms, en we zetten ons in om de persoonsgegevens die we verzamelen te beschermen. We beperken de toegang tot uw persoonsgegevens tot medewerkers die daar redelijkerwijs toegang toe nodig hebben om u producten of diensten te leveren of om hun werk te kunnen doen. Onze medewerkers zijn door ons verplicht om de vertrouwelijkheid te respecteren. We beschikken over passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen – zowel fysiek, elektronisch als procedureel – om de persoonsgegevens die u aan ons verstrekt te beschermen tegen ongeoorloofde of onrechtmatige verwerking en tegen onopzettelijk verlies, beschadiging of vernietiging.

De overdracht van gegevens via het internet is niet volledig veilig en, hoewel we ons best doen om uw persoonsgegevens te beschermen, kunnen we de absolute veiligheid van uw naar de platforms verzonden persoonsgegevens niet garanderen. In het geval van een inbreuk die waarschijnlijk een risico voor uw rechten met zich meebrengt, zullen wij u hiervan zonder onnodige vertraging op de hoogte stellen.

De beveiliging en veiligheid van uw gegevens hangt ook van u af. Wanneer u een wachtwoord hebt gekozen voor toegang tot de Platforms, bent u verantwoordelijk voor het vertrouwelijk houden ervan. Deel dit wachtwoord alstublieft met niemand.

Bescherming van uw gegevens

U hebt te allen tijde het recht om inzage te vragen in, of de overdracht en verwijdering te verzoeken van alle persoonsgegevens die wij over u in onze bestanden bewaren, om onjuistheden te corrigeren en verouderde informatie bij te werken. U kunt ons ook vragen om u geen direct marketingberichten meer te sturen (houd er echter rekening mee dat wij u mogelijk nog steeds servicegerelateerde berichten blijven sturen, zoals e-mailupdates over de status van uw bestelling). U kunt zich te allen tijde afmelden voor e-mailmarketingberichten door een e-mail te sturen naar het onderstaande adres of door te klikken op de link ‘Afmelden’ in e-mails van Global Charter.

Als u een van deze rechten wilt uitoefenen, verzoeken wij u ons te schrijven op het onderstaande adres en ons voldoende documenten te verstrekken waarmee u uw identiteit kunt aantonen. Indien wij het verzoek als onrechtmatig of misbruik beschouwen, zullen wij u zonder onnodige vertraging en uiterlijk binnen één maand na ontvangst van het verzoek op de hoogte stellen van de redenen waarom wij geen actie ondernemen. Indien u van mening bent dat uw rechten met betrekking tot uw persoonsgegevens worden geschonden, heeft u de mogelijkheid om een klacht in te dienen bij uw nationale toezichthoudende autoriteit en een gerechtelijke procedure te starten.

Wijzigingen in dit privacybeleid

Van tijd tot tijd kunnen we dit privacybeleid bijwerken. Wanneer we dat doen, zullen we de wijzigingen op de platforms publiceren.
