The Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix 2026 takes place at Autodromo Nazionale Monza from 4 to 6 September 2026.

Monza sits north of Milan, so most private jet journeys are planned through one of Milan's three main airports. The best option depends on where you are staying, aircraft size, parking availability and when you plan to reach or leave the circuit. Flying to Monza

Milan Linate Airport (LIN) is usually the first airport to consider for passengers staying in Milan or travelling directly towards Monza. It has a dedicated general aviation terminal and is well suited to European private jet traffic.

Two other airports can also be useful:

• Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY): an alternative for selected European flights and itineraries approaching Monza from the east
• Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP): better suited to some heavy and ultra-long-range aircraft and passengers arriving from outside Europe

The final airport should be confirmed with the aircraft. During Grand Prix weekend, parking and handling availability can affect whether the jet remains at the arrival airport or repositions after dropping passengers off. Road traffic around Monza Park also increases sharply on Saturday and Sunday, so the airport transfer should be planned around the race session rather than normal driving times.

Italian Grand Prix Weekend

The 2026 race uses the standard Formula 1 weekend format.

Friday 4 September

• Practice 1: 12:30 to 13:30
• Practice 2: 16:00 to 17:00

Saturday 5 September

• Practice 3: 12:30 to 13:30
• Qualifying: 16:00 to 17:00

Sunday 6 September

• Italian Grand Prix: 15:00 local time

Autodromo Nazionale Monza is 5.793 km long and Sunday's race covers 53 laps, giving a total race distance of 306.72 km. Monza first appeared on the Formula 1 World Championship calendar in 1950 and remains one of the championship's longest-running venues. Passengers planning to fly out on Sunday should allow additional time after the race for leaving the circuit, road traffic and private terminal formalities.
