Hire a Private Jet to Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi combines the UAE's political and commercial centre with a growing cultural and leisure market. Government and energy activity is concentrated around the city, Saadiyat Island is home to its major museums and cultural institutions, while Yas Island draws resort, marina and Formula 1 traffic.

That creates a varied charter market. Regional flights move regularly around the Gulf, while long-haul aircraft arrive from European cities including Manchester. Demand becomes much tighter during major government, energy and sporting events.

Private Jet Airports in Abu Dhabi

Al Bateen is Abu Dhabi's dedicated business aviation airport and is usually our first comparison for an executive jet. Zayed International provides considerably more runway and wider airport infrastructure for larger aircraft, airline connections and missions that do not suit AZI.

  • Al Bateen Executive Airport (AZI): Al Bateen sits within Abu Dhabi and operates 24 hours a day. Its 3,202 metre runway supports a broad range of business aircraft, while the airport has parking capacity for more than 50 private jets. Location is one of its strongest advantages. ADNEC is around five minutes away and Yas Marina Circuit approximately 15 minutes by road. Short taxi times also work in its favour for trips where the ground schedule matters. There is a current operational consideration. Rehabilitation work continues across parts of the airfield in 2026, including restrictions affecting taxiways and apron areas. We therefore check active NOTAMs, parking and aircraft suitability before confirming an Al Bateen movement.
  • Zayed International Airport (AUH): Zayed International has two parallel runways measuring approximately 4,106 metres and 4,100 metres. The airport operates around the clock, with Customs & Immigration, handling and fuelling available 24 hours. That makes AUH particularly useful for heavy jets, VIP airliners, international connections and flights where the aircraft or handling requirement sits outside Al Bateen's practical limits.

How Much Does a Private Jet to Abu Dhabi Cost?

Charter cost depends on the route, aircraft category, positioning and the date of travel. Abu Dhabi's major events can move pricing considerably, so a fixed figure months in advance is less useful than a realistic guide range.

Recent Global Charter Abu Dhabi pricing gives the following indication:

‍

Route Prices From Estimated Flight Time
Dubai to Abu Dhabi $10,000 45m
Riyadh to Abu Dhabi $10,500 1h 55m
Paris to Abu Dhabi $50,000 6h 45m
London to Abu Dhabi $60,000 7h
New York to Abu Dhabi $100,000 13h 10m

‍

These are guide figures rather than fixed charter rates. Aircraft availability, positioning, airport choice and travel dates will affect the final quote.

Aircraft for Private Flights to Abu Dhabi

Short Gulf sectors can suit light jets such as the Citation CJ3+, depending on passenger numbers and baggage. Flights from Europe need more range and a larger cabin. A private flight from Paris, for example, takes around 6h 45m on our current figures, which is comfortably within reach of long-range jets like the Falcon 7X.

The 7X is one of the more popular long-range business jets in the Middle East, with an established operator presence across the region. It can fly nonstop between Abu Dhabi and Paris, as well as other major European cities.

Abu Dhabi Private Jet Charter

Private Jet Charter for Major Abu Dhabi Events

November and December bring two of Abu Dhabi's most concentrated private aviation periods.

ADIPEC runs from 2 to 5 November 2026 at ADNEC, bringing a large international audience from energy, government, finance and technology. Al Bateen's position only a few minutes from the exhibition centre makes it particularly useful during the week. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix follows from 4 to 6 December 2026 at Yas Marina Circuit. Private aircraft arrive into a relatively narrow period before the race weekend and depart again soon afterwards, putting more pressure on parking and aircraft positioning than an ordinary December trip.

Group size can also change around these events. For corporate delegations that move beyond a conventional business jet, a Boeing BBJ provides an airliner-sized cabin with private configuration and seating that can extend well beyond a typical long-range jet. For either event, the important question is often less whether Abu Dhabi can handle the aircraft and more where it can be parked, positioned and recovered around the required schedule.

Planning a Private Jet to Abu Dhabi

The right airport depends partly on what happens after landing. A meeting at ADNEC points strongly towards Al Bateen when the aircraft fits, while an airline connection or larger aircraft can make Zayed International the better choice.

Send us your departure airport, travel dates, passenger numbers and required arrival time. We will check the aircraft actually available for the trip and compare the Abu Dhabi airport options where there is a genuine choice. Once the charter is agreed, our operations team coordinates the flight with the operator and local handling teams. Catering and ground transport can be arranged around the itinerary.
