Its two runways measure 7,000 ft and 5,000 ft, both 150 ft wide, with Atlantic Aviation providing FBO and ground-handling services. The control tower operates from 06:00 to 23:00, after which PNE operates as an uncontrolled field. Private international arrivals can also be handled through Federal Inspection Services with at least 24 hours' advance notice.
For many private flights, PNE offers the more straightforward general aviation environment, while PHL remains the stronger option when aircraft size, runway requirements or the itinerary favour the larger airport.
