Private Jet to the Madrid Grand Prix 2026

The Formula 1 TAG Heuer Gran Premio de España 2026 takes place at MADRING from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September. It will be the first Formula 1 race at the new circuit beside IFEMA Madrid and the first Spanish Grand Prix held in the capital since Jarama in 1981.

Madrid Grand Prix 2026 Dates and Local Timetable

MADRING has published the following session times in Madrid local time:

• Friday 11 September: Practice 1, 13:30 to 14:30; Practice 2, 17:00 to 18:00
• Saturday 12 September: Practice 3, 12:30 to 13:30; Qualifying, 16:00 to 17:00
• Sunday 13 September: Race, 15:00 to 17:00

The charter price depends on where the aircraft starts, crew duty time, airport charges, parking and any empty flight needed before or after the passenger leg. Catering and road transport are priced separately when requested.

Which Airport Do Private Jets Use for the Madrid Grand Prix?

Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD/LEMD) is the closest practical airport for private flights to the race. It sits beside the IFEMA area and can accept aircraft ranging from light and midsize jets for shorter European routes to heavy and ultra-long-range aircraft for Dubai and other long-haul departures.

The Spanish AIP lists the airport, customs and immigration, fuel, security and ground handling as operating 24 hours a day. We appoint a business aviation handler for each flight to coordinate the parking stand, baggage handling, fuel and border formalities.

Madrid-Barajas requires an airport slot, while aircraft parking needs separate confirmation. We confirm the slot, parking stand and handling before the charter is signed. If the aircraft can land but cannot remain at Madrid-Barajas, it may need to fly empty to another airport and return for collection. Those extra flights are included in the quoted price.

The MADRING Circuit

MADRING uses public roads and land around IFEMA Madrid. The lap is 5.416 kilometres long and has 22 corners. Sunday’s race covers 57 laps and 308.524 kilometres.

Turn 12, known as La Monumental, runs for about half a kilometre and has 24 per cent banking.

Getting from Madrid-Barajas to MADRING

Although the airport and circuit are close, private vehicles are not permitted in the circuit area and there is no parking at the venue. Chauffeur cars, taxis and private-hire vehicles must use the official drop-off and pickup points.

The circuit is divided into MADRING North and MADRING South. Passengers cannot move between the two zones from inside the venue, so the driver needs the zone or stand shown on the ticket. North is reached from the Valdebebas side, while South is served from the Feria de Madrid side. The last part of the route may need to be completed on foot.
