Private Jet to the United States Grand Prix 2026
The Formula 1 MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix takes place at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 October 2026. The weekend uses the standard Formula 1 format, with three practice sessions, qualifying on Saturday and the 56-lap Grand Prix on Sunday.
We arrange private jet flights to Austin around the sessions, track access and evening concerts. The flight plan also covers the Austin airport used, aircraft parking, international arrival formalities and the journey between the aviation terminal, hotel and ticketed area at COTA.
Benefits of Flying Private to the US Grand Prix
- Flight times based on your tickets: The arrival and departure can be planned around practice, qualifying, the Grand Prix and the concerts you intend to attend.
- Private aviation terminals: Passengers use the appointed fixed-base operator rather than the main airline terminal.
- Aircraft selected for the booking: The jet is chosen according to the route, passenger number, baggage and required cabin space.
- Private group travel: The aircraft is reserved for the booked passengers, with the agreed catering and cabin arrangements.
- Clearer return planning: A Sunday flight can be scheduled around either the end of the race or the Alesso closing show, subject to crew duty time and aircraft parking.
Private Jet Costs for the US Grand Prix
The figures below are current one-way estimates for the whole aircraft. They are not per-passenger fares or guaranteed live offers.
Short flights from Dallas or Houston may suit a light or super light jet. Longer domestic routes may require a midsize jet or larger aircraft, depending on the passenger number, baggage, weather and nonstop range required.
The final charter price depends on where the aircraft starts, crew duty time, airport and FBO charges, Formula 1 weekend parking and any empty flights. Chauffeur transport and overnight crew expenses are shown separately when applicable.
Best Private Jet Airports for the United States Grand Prix
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport
Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS/KAUS) is our first choice for most United States Grand Prix flights. It is in south-east Austin and is the more practical airport when passengers are travelling directly between the aircraft and COTA.
The airport has three fixed-base operators: Atlantic Aviation, Signature Flight Support and Million Air. The City of Austin lists general aviation terminals, hangars, maintenance and fuel facilities, with an instrumented 9,000-foot runway beside the FBO area. Austin-Bergstrom can accept aircraft ranging from short-range business jets to heavy and long-range jets. We appoint one FBO and give the chauffeur its exact address, as private passengers do not normally use the main airline terminal.
International private flights require advance coordination with the handler and US Customs and Border Protection. Passenger and crew information must be submitted before the flight, and the customs inspection time must be confirmed rather than assumed. Aircraft parking also needs separate approval. If the jet can drop off passengers but cannot remain at Austin-Bergstrom, the quote may include an empty flight to another airport and a return sector for collection.
Austin Executive Airport
Austin Executive Airport (EDC/KEDC) is a business and general aviation airport north-east of Austin. The airport has a 6,025-foot runway and serves as a general aviation alternative to Austin-Bergstrom. Its SH-130 connection provides a route towards the COTA area.
Austin Executive can suit domestic flights when the aircraft type, passenger load, baggage and operating conditions fit the available runway. Its shorter runway means that it should not be assumed suitable for every heavy or long-range aircraft. We do not treat Austin Executive as a routine direct international arrival airport. Any required customs arrangements would need to be specifically confirmed before it was offered.
Airport proximity does not provide a guaranteed journey time to the circuit. COTA requires a pre-purchased pass for every vehicle parking on site, while rideshare services use the McAngus drop-off point and cannot enter COTA Boulevard during race weekends. We ask for the passenger’s grandstand, hospitality area and parking arrangements before setting the car route.

Formula 1 MSC Cruises United States Grand Prix 2026
- Dates: 23 to 25 October 2026
- Location: Circuit of the Americas, Austin, Texas
- Significance: COTA first hosted the United States Grand Prix in 2012
The 2026 weekend includes two Formula 1 practice sessions on Friday, final practice and qualifying on Saturday and the Grand Prix at 15:00 local time on Sunday. The confirmed COTA entertainment programme features Maroon 5 on Friday, Post Malone on Saturday and an Alesso closing show on Sunday.
Circuit of the Americas is 5.513 kilometres long and has 20 corners. Sunday’s race covers 56 laps and 308.405 kilometres. The circuit’s defining feature is the steep climb into Turn 1, followed later by the fast direction changes through Turns 3 to 6 and the stadium-style section towards the end of the lap.
Passengers attending a concert should not set the return flight around the scheduled end of the Formula 1 session. The walk from the ticketed area, controlled vehicle access, road traffic and travel to the appointed FBO must all be included before take-off.
