Flight Operations Specialist - UK

Global Charter is looking for highly organised and detail-focused Flight Operations Specialists to join our London team.

Once a private jet charter is confirmed, our Operations team helps ensure every detail is correctly coordinated through to completion. You will work closely with brokers, aircraft operators, airports, FBOs and suppliers, managing operational requirements, monitoring live flights and resolving issues when plans change.

The standard working pattern is Monday to Thursday in our Shoreditch office from 08:00 to 17:00, with Friday working from home. Following successful training, the role will also include late-shift and weekend operational cover on a 1 in 5 rota. The late shift runs Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 22:00, while weekend cover includes 2 days off in lieu.

We are open to both junior candidates looking to start a career in private aviation and experienced candidates from aviation, flight operations, charter, travel, logistics or a similar operational environment. Previous aviation experience is not essential for the junior position. What matters most is being organised, dependable and comfortable working in an environment where details can change quickly and accuracy matters.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing and distributing flight briefs and operational information
• Monitoring live flights, delays, positioning sectors and schedule changes
• Coordinating catering, chauffeurs and other passenger requirements
• Liaising with aircraft operators, FBOs, airports and ground handlers
• Making sure passenger and operational requirements are communicated correctly
• Maintaining accurate trip information and operational notes within our CRM
• Supporting brokers before and during flights
• Resolving day-of-flight operational issues quickly and professionally
• Assisting with supplier invoices and booking financial updates
• Monitoring active trips through to successful completion

Experience in aviation, private charter, travel, hospitality, logistics or operations is advantageous but not essential for junior candidates.
