Best Airport in Rome for Private Jets
Rome is served by Ciampino Airport (CIA) for private aviation, which handles the vast majority of business jet traffic into the city. Located around 15 kilometres southeast of central Rome and roughly a 20-minute drive to the historical centre outside peak traffic, CIA sits close to the city with dedicated FBO facilities and an established private aviation environment.
Fiumicino (FCO) – Rome's main commercial airport, around 30 kilometres southwest of the city – occasionally serves as an alternative for heavy or ultra-long-range aircraft, or for arrivals needing full commercial customs and immigration handling.
